Brainstorming will help you differentiate - simply mix the more able/G&T with the less able students and ask them to work in groups. Add your exam Qs to the mix and you can easily turn it into 3-5 lessons! A series of lessons (about 3-6 hours of classroom teaching, 44 slides) with exam-oriented tasks you may easily tailor to suit the needs of your particular group, describing (focusing on both AO1 and AO2/3): The Functionalist Perspective, Neoliberal / the New Right perspective on education as well as The Marxist View. Extension tasks included, should work fine with any major exam board. Plenaries and example questions. Links to 3 short video clips (about 1.5-3 minutes each) included, plus a link to an AQA pdf booklet (available from them for free but you can still use it to introduce your learning objectives/see their progress throughout your lessons if your SoW is not AQA-based), thus it could be taught with effectively any AS/A-level Sociology textbook. The material has been recently taught and should save you hours of your own preparation time!
